SUITABLEE

Privacy Policy

We hold your information the way we build your suit — precisely, and only to a measure. This explains what we collect, why, and the control you keep over it.

Couture Suitablee Inc.  ·  Effective August 13, 2026  ·  Last updated August 13, 2026

01Who we are

SUITABLEE (Couture Suitablee Inc.) makes custom suits and shirts for men and women, with showrooms in Montreal, Brossard, Ottawa, Toronto, and Laval, serving clients across Canada and the United States. This policy is designed to meet Quebec's Law 25 and Canada's PIPEDA.

02What we collect

  • Contact details — name, email, phone, and shipping address where relevant.
  • Your measurements — the figures needed to make your garment.
  • Appointments and orders — bookings, order history, specifications, preferences.
  • Payment information — handled by our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers on our own systems.
  • Website data — collected through cookies and similar technologies when you use our site or see our advertising, with your consent.

03The body scan

Our fitting uses an infrared scan to capture your exact measurements. We want to be plain about it:

The scan image is never kept. We take your measurements from it, then the image is discarded — by us and by our scanning provider. Only the measurements remain, so we can make and remake your garment.

Because we keep no scan image, SUITABLEE holds no database of body images.

04Why we hold it

  • To book and manage your fittings and appointments.
  • To design, make, alter, and deliver your garments.
  • To process payment and keep order records for reorders.
  • To reach you about your orders.
  • With your consent, to send you occasional messages and show you relevant advertising.
  • To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We collect only what these purposes require — nothing kept for its own sake.

05Consent

We collect, use, and share your information with your consent, except where the law allows or requires otherwise. For the body scan, we ask for your agreement at the fitting, before we begin. You may withdraw consent at any time — for example, unsubscribe from our messages — subject to what we still need to complete an order you have placed.

06Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the providers who help us operate, and only as far as needed:

  • Setmore — appointment booking.
  • Stripe and Clover — to process payments securely.
  • Meta and Google — for our website and advertising, as described below.
  • Others as needed — such as shipping, email, and IT support.

Some of these providers process information outside Quebec, including in the United States. Before entrusting your information to a provider outside Quebec, we assess the protection it receives, as Law 25 requires.

07Cookies and advertising

Our site uses cookies and similar technologies to function, to understand how it is used, and to deliver and measure advertising through Meta and Google. Cookies needed for the site to work are always on. Analytics and advertising cookies run only with your consent — non-essential tracking stays off until you accept. You can change your choice at any time through our cookie settings.

08How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as the law requires — for instance, accounting records. Your measurements and order details are kept to support reorders. You may ask us to delete your information, subject to what we are legally required to retain. As above, scan images are never kept.

09Your rights

Under Law 25 and Canadian law, you may:

  • Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct anything inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Withdraw consent — for example, to marketing.
  • Ask us to delete your information, within legal limits.
  • Ask for the information you gave us in a portable format.
  • Complain to the Commission d'accès à l'information (CAI).

To exercise any of these, contact our Privacy Officer below. We respond within the time the law requires — generally 30 days.

10How we protect it

We take reasonable physical, organizational, and technical measures to protect your information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access. Access is limited to those who need it to serve you. If a confidentiality incident occurs that carries a risk of serious harm, we act to reduce it and notify the CAI and those affected, as the law requires.
