Suit Design Details
Two Button

Two Button

Most common type of jacket fastening, it is ideal for all occasions and all types of jackets. Deep V neckline that should fall right above the navel; creates a flattering elongated silhouette.

Standard Notch

Standard Notch

V-shape indentation. Most versatile type of lapel. It can be worn equally well at formal occasions, and more casual events. Can be paired with various pants.

Five Button Notch Lapel

Five Button Notch Lapel

Timeless look that suits those with an average to long torso. Notch lapels add a level of ornateness. Angular edge.

Flap Pocket

Flap Pocket

Pockets that have a flap, made from the same fabric as the suit, over the opening. The flaps add visual depth to a suit, but they can also be tucked in, thus imitating the look of jet pockets.

Ticket Pocket

Ticket Pocket

An optional stylistic choice, the ticket pocket is a smaller sized pocket located above the right hand side pocket. Historically used for storing train or movie tickets. Adds character and a slight vintage touch.

Double Vents

Double Vents

Twin openings that sit on each side of the jacket’s back hem. A more sophisticated flair. The preferred look for most suits.

Boutonnière

Boutonnière

French for "button hole", this hole is typically unused. It has become a standard in the industry (except for tuxedos) and can be inserted with a pin or a flower.

Displaced Fastening

Displaced Fastening

Having the top pant button slightly on the right side makes for a classier style and elevates the overall look of a suit.

Two Pockets

Two Pockets

Standard look, symmetrical style.

“The suit my husband had made was incredible! We were looking for a total unicorn... a lilac suit made in an european-style cut. We searched many stores and were basically laughed out of the store by many a snarky store assistant that men simply never ask for this. We thought custom would be out of our budget, but also the 4 fitting model was daunting in how time consuming it seemed. I posted on a FB group since we would be visiting Montreal, where I'm from, and many people recommended Suitablee and someone from the business responded saying lilac would be no problem. We were amazed that they only needed one fitting to get it right. We live on the West coast and the suit arrived and fit my husband perfectly. It's tailored, a stylish European cut, and just the right colour to match our Spring-themed, non-traditional wedding. (My dress is mint green and iridescent sequin... we were going for funky). Bringing tech in to reduce the price and increase the efficiency feels like how shopping will be in the future. We LOVED our experience. Thanks so much guys! 100% recommend without hesitation! ”

Half-Canvassed Construction

Our suits are constructed with 2/3 of horsehair interlining that helps create a slight stiffness and a spring texture, fighting away wrinkles, while offering you a crisp and clean look throughout the chest, stomach and lapel. This guarantees a good build for the top section of your suit instead of a firm and inactive build like many fused suits. This construction offers durability, as it distributes the tension from different stress points around your shoulders and chest.
