When SUITABLEE was first launched, the Siow brothers used to take the physical measurements of clients in person. Realizing there had to be a better way of doing this, they developed an infrared scanner to record images of their customers in conjunction with the 20-25 measurements needed to deliver a perfectly fitted suit. Using these scans, they developed the Automatic Sizing technology, which generates custom patterns for customers after they answer 12 simple questions.

I was lucky enough to meet up with the Suitablee team in Montreal to get personal measurements for a suit. The process was very quick, all thanks to the extremely competent staff on site. I then used those carefully taken measurements to order one of their custom-made suits online after I arrived home. Before their launch, they both worked in technology and engineering. They didn’t have a ton of experience in fashion, but they knew that their experience with tech would be an asset. “I had a thirst for entrepreneurship,” says Jean-Sebastien. “I wanted to start my own business and make a name for myself. Once Jean-Jeremie agreed to work with me, I knew we were set up for success.”
